Since opening our doors, we’ve been committed to hiring only the most experienced and talented coaches available. We invest our time and resources in full time coaches to ensure the best possible experience for our members. Our full time and Lead coaches have multiple certifications in a wide range of disciplines including CrossFit, Strength and Conditioning, and Nutrition just to name a few; regularly attend clinics, participate in continuing education on a weekly basis taught by CrossFit Headquarters seminar staff member Rudy Tapalla, and go above and beyond to share what we learn with our athletes. When you work with a CFC coach, you know you’re getting the most knowledgeable, current and accurate training available to ensure your safety as well as improve your performance.
Upon joining CFC, a new member is assigned a team that is headed up by one of our lead coaches. Members are encouraged to interact with every coach at CFC, however, your coach is there for you and will help you be accountable. They will answer questions, do an FMS screening to determine any weaknesses, and can help with skill development. Additionally, our full time coaches put on quarterly skills clinics on foundational crossfit movements that are free for members to attend. Check out one of our favorites on double unders
Frequent class times and consistency in coaching.
We offer classes for all levels of athletes, from beginner to intermediate and advanced, starting as early as 5:30AM and as late as 7:30PM. At CrossFit Chicago, we lead everything from the warmup to the cool down. Our coaches go thru extensive training and are able to correct faults and change programming on the fly if needed to match how people are moving with what needs to be accomplished. We believe this assessments starts in the warm up and continues thru the end of class and in some cases afterwards with special individual exercises or skills to work on. At CrossFit Chicago we want to make sure that each athlete who comes thru our doors is getting a great experience and is leaving better off than when they walked in and we have found that great coaching is a key to this.
Memberships are simple and convenient with single auto-deduct payment per month. It is our firm belief that we should earn your continued monthly membership with the level of quality and value of service that you expect from us, and that is why we do not require long-term contracts*. A CrossFit Chicago membership gives you access to all classes that we offer including CrossFit, SweatFest, and Westside classes.
Plenty of Space and Equipment
CrossFit Chicago athletes train in a clean, well-equipped 11,000 square foot location able to accommodate classes large and small. As we’ve grown, we’ve continued to add equipment to make sure there’s more than enough to go around. Ropes, pull-up racks, rings, GHD machines, Jerk blocks, barbells, rubber bumper plates, kettlebells, dumbbells, Concept 2 rowers, speed ropes, all sorts of chains, bands, and other equipment to train you with: we’ve got it all, and then some.

We’ve got plenty of ‘em. Just take a look at our Success Stories to meet a few. Many members have little athletic background or haven’t worked out for a while. You’ll also meet lots of athletes who have shed 20, 30, 40 and close to 100 pounds since joining CrossFit Chicago. We provide a positive training experience, one that’s inclusive, supportive and member-focused. Our members come from almost every walk of life but they all have something in common: they work hard and they like to have a good time. We host BBQ’s, throwdowns and parties inside and outside the gym and our members have been known to participate together in local sporting events like marathons, triathlons and all sorts of other crazy events from stair climbs to tough mudders. People come to CFC to get in shape and they end up meeting their best friends here!
